OPOC Completes Seven Acquisitions in 2026. We're Just Getting Started.

OPOC closed seven acquisitions in 2026. Our new partners take us further into Massachusetts, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Arizona and Virginia. And we’re not done. We plan to keep growing in 2027.

Why independent agencies are joining OPOC

Benefit costs are squeezing employers in every state. Independent consultants feel it too. A lot of good ones are stretched thin just trying to keep up.

Joining OPOC lets owners realize the value of what they’ve built while gaining the resources of a national organization. Every partner keeps:

  • Its name
  • Its people
  • Its client relationships

What they gain: national-scale buying power, proven cost-saving solutions, advanced technology and dedicated operational support.

“We bring those agencies the tools, buying power and back-office support of a larger firm without taking away what makes them great: the relationships. That’s why owners choose us, and it’s why their clients stay.”
Clark May, CEO of OPOC

Owners get their time back

Running an agency means running payroll, systems, compliance and everything else that keeps the lights on. When OPOC handles that infrastructure, owners can step back from the day-to-day and stay focused on the relationships and work they enjoy most. Brokers and consultants can expand their service offerings, deepen client relationships and find new ways to grow.

Owners who have joined say we follow through.

“OPOC bent over backwards to make sure they delivered on what we discussed in the initial phases of this deal.”
Scott Eastman, President of Faison Group, which joined OPOC in early 2026

What it means for employers

Employers served by our partner agencies now have access to OPOC’s full platform: health benefits, retirement plans, HR support, payroll technology and corporate wellness. Every client also gets Personal CAREAdvocates™, a single point of contact for benefits questions.

The results matter. OPOC clients have reduced healthcare costs by an average of 11% in their first year, and per-employee medical spending has stayed nearly flat over time. That’s happening while employers nationwide brace for the steepest healthcare cost increases in nearly 20 years.

A big year, with more ahead

The acquisitions cap a year of growth. OPOC also announced plans to add 375 jobs at our Worthington, Ohio headquarters over the next few years.

We’re in active conversations with benefits consultants across the country. Here’s what owners can expect:

  • A confidential, streamlined process
  • Fair market valuation based on recurring commissions, revenue quality and retention
  • White-glove migration that protects your brand’s reputation

“If you’ve built a successful operation and you’re thinking about what’s next, whether that’s retirement, succession or simply a better way to grow, we want to talk. We’re building something that keeps your name on the door and your clients in good hands.”
Clark May, CEO of OPOC
